Tamra has been with the firm for 26 years and has been involved in every aspect of the firm’s management. She is a member of the Executive Leadership Team and currently heads up the firm’s wealth management process, which includes assisting clients identify the longevity of their asset base for their lifetime and future generations..  This work is a result of Tamra’s ability to create personal and complex financial models for each client. In addition, she holds a law degree and with it expertise in estate planning and how a trust or will should complement the wealth planning model. Lastly, Tamra is experienced in tax guidance and assists clients with tax strategy.

Tamra has authored several articles about wealth planning which have been featured in The Wall Street Journal, U.S. News and World Reports, Yahoo Finance and The Street. As well, she has been named a Five Star Wealth Manager for 2018 and 2019.

Tamra is an avid reader and also enjoys hiking, traveling and scuba diving with her family, including two teenage girls, and two dogs – Bond and Brooxe.

Tamra received her BA in Political Science from the University of California, Santa Barbara and her Juris Doctorate from Empire College of Law. Additionally, she attended the University of California, Berkeley, University Extension for Personal Financial Planning and is a Certified Financial Planner™ certificant. As well, she is a member of the Financial Planning Association.

The Five Star Wealth Manager award, is based on 10 objective criteria: 1) Credentialed as a registered investment advisor or a registered investment adviser representative; 2) Active as a credentialed professional in the financial services industry for a minimum of 5 years; 3) Favorable regulatory and complaint history review (As defined by Five Star Professional); 4) Fulfilled their firm review based on internal standards; 5) Accepting new clients; 6) One-year client retention rate; 7)Five-year client retention rate; 8) Non-institutional discretionary and/or non-discretionary client assets administered; 9) Number of clients households served; 10) Education and professional designations.   Wealth managers do not pay a fee to be considered or placed on the final list however they may purchase additional profile ad space or promotional products.
